Genetic Diversity of 52 Species of Kiwifruit (Actinidia chinensis Planch.)

The genetic diversity of 52 kiwifruit wild germplasms, which were collected by the germplasm nursery Guangxi Institute Botany, was studied using start-codon-targeted (SCoT) molecular markers. objective to understand relationships germplasms. results showed that a total 113 bands amplified from germplasms 10 primers (9–17 per primer, 11.3 on average), 103 (91.15%) polymorphic (10.3 primer). identity in range 0.405–1.000, with an average 0.709. distance 0.000–0.904, 0.355. At threshold 0.650, clustered into three clusters. distances between Guilin and Fushekuoye Jinhua Liangye both smallest (0.000), meaning they had similarity 100%, as indicated SCoT In conclusion, at level (genetic distance) preferentially according place origin instead morphological classification, geographical distribution, or ploidy. partially verified through disease resistance analysis.
